Michael, who has recently taken hold of Forrest yoga, has practiced for 4 years. He completed his Foundation Teacher Training in May 2013.
Leigh Ann, a practicing yogi for 10 years and a Forrest Yoga teacher for 8, has completed Ana Forrest's Foundation, Level 2, and Advanced Teacher Trainings.
Forrest Yoga is designed to address the physical ailments of our modern lifestyle, including lower and upper back pain, neck and shoulder issues, wrist problems, and intestinal disorders. Poses are modified so they can be practiced in a way that is pain free, but still challenging. “Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly. The practice is founded on four pillars: Breath, Strength, Integrity and Spirit.”
