Thank you Becca and Leigh Ann. It was great to have human interaction, practice social distancing and be social. To top it all off, what a great class! I highly recommend you zoom classes! It was good for both mind and body.

Yoga with Becca

I started practicing yoga in 2012, simply due to curiosity about a type of “exercise” that also taught you how to breathe.  I continue practicing yoga, because the same session can satisfy both my desire to challenge my body and stay connected to my body.  I use yoga to address my wellness in a way that feels whole - the physical, the mental, the emotional.  I teach yoga with the hope that others will come away with something just as exciting.

Expect direct cues, clear demos, and intelligent sequencing to safely prepare you for the fun, challenging poses. We’ll use breath and intent setting to foster a practice of self inquiry and personal growth.  To make sure this practice is accessible to anybody who is interested, I offer modifications and pose options in group classes and specially tailored practices in private sessions.

Practice with me:

Virtually through the on-demand video library above.

In person group classes at Iron City Boulders in Lawrenceville. Off street parking in ample parking lot. Must preregister for class, they fill up very quickly.

In person private sessions, 1-2 people, at Full Circle Function & Fitness: becca@fullcirclefunctionandfitness.com

Massage with Becca

Massage helps manage pain or stress and builds body awareness. Based on a discussion before each session, we will figure out together what method or combination of methods you’d respond to best. I specialize in:

Swedish Massage - gliding and kneading strokes with varied pressure based on client's goals.

Neuromuscular Therapy - "trigger point"; used alongside Swedish to address hyper irritable points within the muscle that cause pain either locally or referred.

Myofascial Release - addresses restrictions in the fascia, a connective tissue that is integrated throughout the entire body; may use gentle sustained holds or deeper, intense strokes to break up adhesions.

Structural Bodywork - a series of sessions to address the layers of fascial planes that span the body (based on the work of Tom Myers and Anatomy Trains) to balance posture and structure resulting in a greater sense of ease and less discomfort.

Thanks again for the remote yoga class today. I thought the class worked remarkably well and I felt great afterwards. It’s not quite the same as being with you and the other yogis in the little #secretyogaclub studio, but it was pretty close. And it definitely pushed me to get up and practice yoga today, which is a whole lot better than not doing yoga at all.
